SOURCEGAS ARKANSAS’ ON-GOING INVESTMENTS IN PIPELINE SAFETY AND RELIABILITY HIGHLIGHTED IN RATE PROPOSAL
SourceGas Arkansas, Inc. filed a request for a general rate change with the Arkansas Public Service Commission. If approved, the proposal is expected to increase average residential customer bill less than $5 per month. Because of our significant investments in safety, reliability, and customer service, our costs to serve our customers are expected to rise by $17.3 million since our last rate case. Higher revenues from system expansion and growth will offset $4.7 million of these additional costs. Today, SourceGas is asking the Commission to allow us to recover the remaining portion through a fair increase in our rates.
