Home Weatherization Assistance Program

The Arkansas Weatherization Assistance Program provides funds to conserve energy in homes of low-income people, with an emphasis on elderly, handicapped and families with children. Cost effective measures on single frame houses and mobile homes include replacement of broken windows and doors, caulking, weather stripping, installing insulation and other energy-saving measures.

This DOE-funded program is administered by the Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services through local community action agencies. For eligibility requirements, please call 1-800-432-0043.
